When Speaking Prayers of Faith, Using His Words from the Holy Bible, We can Expect Things to Happen

Tip! Jesus promised to pass on the power from heaven to accomplish greater works for Him in this world. That promise is His Holy Spirit. Jesus intended for His chosen apostles to go and bring in a lot of fruit, the same goes for us.

"...Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he [says] shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he [says]."-- Mark 11:23

We find ourselves once more looking at this truth that was opened by our Master concerning the mountain being removed at a word of command. Please take notice of the fact that Jesus first spoke the words, "...Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea…" We must assume that the mountain is the symbolic form used to show the accumulation of human anguish and pain caused by sin in this world. We also must see that it is possible to have this mass of human misery removed by speaking the living words of Jesus when we prayer. It is obvious that we can enter in to His faith and connect with His omnipotent power to reach the victory over sin and death while on earth. But we must pray without any doubt in our hearts, so we can share Christ's faith to achieve the purpose of the Father. When we speak our prayers using His words from the Holy Bible, we have an official reason from Jesus, to expect the things we say to happen.

Our prayers can clinch every word of promise and every word of purpose spoken by our Lord in His Word. Our faith and prayers can join His faith and prayers and support Him in the final completion of His and our Father's will and work. When using this gracious truth for the things which Christ has spoken in clear expressions of eternal truth, it is not hard to understand that our prayer of faith becomes an important part of the whole plan of redemption. We are assured that every word spoken in prayer will be answered in the final return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Because it is written,

"And He shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began." Acts 3:20, 21

Tip! God’s people do not have authorization to demand the Savior’s promise of, “...Whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do,” in order to gain something very special for themselves.

Paul unmistakably shows this final victory of Christ when he said,

"Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death." — 1 Corinthians 15:24-26

Our hope and expectation is built on nothing less then Jesus' blood and righteousness. For the final rescue from all the effects of evil in our bodies and minds will be accomplished when He comes to be glorified in us, His saints, and to be accepted in all of us who believe in and are waiting for that day. When He appears we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is. We will share in His final victory over disease and death. We will hear Him say to that mountain of sufferings, "...Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea...," and this will happen.

Tip! So when we ask Christ to carry out His works in our hearts we are fervently praying that our Father may be glorified in His Son.

In sight of this reassuring hope let us continue to pray in faith, without any doubt in our hearts. Let us rest our faith on the undying love of Christ, asking for nothing more than to be counted worthy of His pleasure to the end of life on this earth, or until He comes for us.
